The William Burgess School Council is a volunteer-run group of parents, caregivers, and community members dedicated to enriching the school experience for every child by raising additional funds each year to support programs, resources, and experiences.
The School Council relies on generous donations and sponsorship from parents, guardians, caregivers and local community businesses.
The council plans and organizes fundraising events throughout the year to support an annual budget that directly benefits students.

Funds are raised to support each child through field trip subsidies and classroom supplies, and support programs like phsyical education, art and music, the schoool garden, and more.
Each fall, the Council develops and approves a budget focused on enhancing the school experience for all children.

Donations to the William Burgess Elementary School Council can be made securely through the TDSB School Cash Online portal: TDSB donation site. (Choose William Burgess as the school under "Gift Information")
All contributions directly support School Council programs and initiatives, and tax receipts are issued for all donations.
